Ep. 33: Tinseltown Mom Tips – Benefits of Speaking Affirming Words to Our Kids, Plus 25 Affirming Phrases to Say Now

January 11, 2021 by watkinsT Leave a Comment

On episode #33 of Time Out with Tinseltown Mom, I’ll be giving some Tinseltown Mom Tips that will hopefully help you navigate your parenting life a little easier. I’m going to talk about the benefits of regularly speaking words of affirmation to your children, and then I’ll share 25 affirming messages that we can consistently say to them, starting today.

Our words have power, the power of life or death. We can either build up with our words or tear down. Sadly, our kids rarely forget our negative words once they leave our mouths, no matter how sorry we are. The same holds true for uplifting words, and when it comes to our kids our goal should be to frequently build them up with positive sayings, as those messages will live on and resonate with them into adulthood.
