TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas Talks Dating as a Single Mother

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas filled in for Tamar Braxton as guest host on The Real talk show earlier this week and shared her thoughts on single motherhood.  “Most people are in relationships they have no business being in, whether you’re a famous person or not.  People feel the need to just have somebody.  Being in the wrong relationship is the worst,” the TLC singer expressed to the ladies on the panel.

Adrienne Bailon then asked the 43-year-old if it was hard dating as a single mom. “For me, no because Tron is my everything.  I think once you become a mother, and especially for me…  I feel like I was born to be a mommy and be in TLC, and God blessed me with those things. If I could not present a healthy relationship to my son, then it’s nothing.”

Loni Love proceeded to ask Chilli how soon she’d introduce a new man to her son, and the TV personality opened up further.  “I think it just depends on how the connection is.  For some people it could be two months; it could be 4 months.  Cause then you don’t bring them around as mommy’s boyfriend.  This is mommy’s friend.”
