On episode #46 of Time Out with Tinseltown Mom I speak with New York Times Bestselling author Mary Beth Chapman. Along with co-writing several children’s books, Mary Beth wrote, Choosing to See: A Journey of Struggle and Hope. Mary Beth and her Grammy and Dove award-winning husband, Steven Curtis Chapman, founded the nonprofit Show Hope, an organization that provides resources for families wishing to adopt.
Today we’re going to talk about recovery and healing after the death of a child and Mary Beth will talk about her journey to healing that will hopefully inspire others needing encouragement. Mary Beth lost her youngest daughter Maria Sue in 2008 when the 5-year-old was unintentionally hit by Mary Beth’s son, Will, after she ran into the path of his SUV. Prayerfully today’s episode will bring hope and healing to all listening.
