During Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary Special funny mom Maya Rudolph was up to her creative tricks as she once again impersonated R & B crooner Beyoncé Knowles. Rudolph originally imitated the singer last year, but this time she took her hilarious performance to another level.
The hip gyrations, sexy outfits, deep voice and feathered hair were reminiscent of Beyoncé perfectly. “For forty years and forty nights Saturday Night Live has given us so many iconic moments…” the 42-year-old mom of three sang in perfect sync to the tune of “Drunk In Love.”
During the course of the video clip below, Martin Short and Beyoncé (Maya Rudolph) look back on SNL’s musical acts with help from Garth & Kat (Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig), Marty & Bobbi Culp (Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer), Opera Man (Adam Sandler), King Tut (Steve Martin) and The Blues Brothers (Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd).
Beyoncé comes in at 1:24.
