Hollywood film legend, Lauren Bacall, the last surviving studio-era movie star, recently passed away, so as a tribute to her life we’re looking back on the iconic figure when she was a young mother.
Bacall had two children with Humphrey Bogart, son Stephen Humphrey Bogart (born January 6, 1949), a news producer, documentary filmmaker and author; and a daughter Leslie Bogart (born August 23, 1952), a yoga instructor. The couple were married from 1945 up until Bogart’s death in 1957.
In 1961, the actress married her second husband, Jason Robards Jr. They divorced in 1969, and had a son, Sam Robards, an actor, born December 16, 1961.
Bacall lived a full 89 years on this earth, and to the world she’ll be remembered as one of our favorite classic movie stars, but to those closest to her she’ll simply be known as mom.
