Throwback Thursday: Meredith Vieira as a Teenager

Talk show host, Meredith Vieira, posted a heartfelt photo of her and her father back when she was a young teen, and we had to share.

The journalist, who’s had a long and impressive career, is well-known for serving as the original moderator of the ABC talk show The View; for co-hosting the long-running NBC morning news program Today; for being the original host of the U.S. syndicated version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire; for contributing to Dateline NBC, Rock Center with Brian Williams, and for presenting Lifetime Television’s Intimate Portrait series.

Now, the talented mom of three is hosting her own show, “The Meredith Vieira Show” and when the 60-year-old posted her throwback photo she gushed about how her father made her feel. “Whenever I was getting ready to go out, before I left my dad would stop me and say, ‘you look sharp.’ This isn’t one of my sharpest outfits but he always made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world.”
