Colombian-born singer and former The Voice coach , Shakira Mebarak, and her longtime love, Gerard Piqué, announced the birth of their second son today, Sasha Piqué Mebarak. Their newborn baby boy was born on Jan. 29 in Barcelona according to the singer’s website.
The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means “defender of mankind” and “warrior.”
The hospital confirmed that both mother and child are in excellent health.
Their new addition joins 2-year-old big brother Milan. Congratulations to the growing family!
