After speaking with Randi Mahomes for almost an hour it became clear that the 48-year-old mother of Patrick Mahomes, Jackson Mahomes, and Mia Randall is a down-to-earth devoted mom. Although Patrick Mahomes is an NFL star, many people want to know: What does Jackson Mahomes do? There’s also growing interest in learning more about their younger sister, Mia.
What Do Jackson Mahomes and His Sister Mia Do?
Randi’s experience raising three kids as a single mom is remarkable. She admitted to moving out of her house as a rebellious sixteen-year-old. Patrick was in 4th grade when she first became a single mom and Jackson was about 4. At times, she worked two jobs to provide for her children and constantly encouraged them to pursue their passions. Patrick was always into sports, trying everything from basketball and baseball to martial arts. Jackson, standing tall at 6’7″, excelled at basketball but found his true passion in business once he went to college. He currently works in marketing. Meanwhile, her youngest, Mia, is a budding tennis star with a bright future ahead.
Adjusting to Fame
Randi admits that adjusting to fame comes with its challenges. Something as simple as going out to dinner with Patrick can be difficult, so they often spend quality time together at his house, away from the public eye. Another challenge is dealing with online negativity and misinformation. “Jackson gets a lot of hate,” Randi shares. But despite these hurdles, she couldn’t be prouder of Patrick for living his dreams and fully supports him.
