Deciding on the perfect outfit to wear for a job interview is not an easy task, but thankfully, style expert, Rachel Zoe, is here to help. The fashionista shares her tips and tricks for dressing for an interview. Regardless of what type of job you interview for, Zoe says err on the side of conservative and classic. This does not mean boring, however. Take a look at Zoe’s suggestions.
- Try a classic, men’s-wear-inspired pant/trouser suit. Color suggestions: navy, pinstripe, shades of grey, winter white. Wear what is comfortable and fits your style
- If your preference is more feminine try a classic shift dress or pencil skirt. With the skirt wear a blouse and chic sweater. Neck scarfs and colored pumps also add a great touch. Accessories make the suit your own and add great personality, but nothing too pretentious or flashy; stay focused on the interview.
- Hair and Make-up: Never have your hair too done, again err on the side of conservative. Try a low pony tail, top knot, braid or blow out.
Remember, in the interview stay as classic as you are comfortable. Watch the video for all the details.
