Megan Fox has been acting for over thirteen years but it seems her priorities have shifted quite a bit since becoming a mother. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star recently spoke with Mirror Magazine about motherhood and how her life has evolved in so many ways since having kids. “It has definitely changed me as a person in every possible way. Before you have kids, you really do not understand how all-consuming it is.”
Fox has even admitted to becoming less timid, and more fearless since embracing motherhood. “As an actress, I feel as if it took away some of the fear of being in front of the camera, because once you have pushed two children out, there’s not much that you have to be afraid of anymore.”
The actress, who’s married to former Beverly Hills 90210 star, Brian Austin Green, is also not afraid to use her domestic skills at home. “I definitely cook for my kids. I am not a chef but I make scrambled eggs and tomato soup. When I am working, I do have childcare obviously, but when it’s just Brian and I at home we do a lot of it ourselves. I’ll be honest, I am not a fan of cleaning, but I am very conscious of germs so my bathroom is spotless.”
The good-looking couple have two boys, Noah, 2 and Bodhi, 8 months; and Green also has a 12-year-old son, Kassius, with former girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.
Fox, who was raised as a Christian, and happened to choose a Biblical name for her oldest son, Noah, also opened up about why her spiritual life is becoming more important to her.”I was raised in a very religious family and I went through a stage in my early twenties when I rebelled against that. I wasn’t worried about faith or religion but now, maybe because of getting married and having a family, I’ve come back full circle.”
It seems Fox has found her calling, so the inevitable question ‘do you want more kids’ came up, and although Fox and Green have their hands full with three boys the Hollywood star said she would be open to having more. “I like being pregnant and having babies. I love motherhood. It is hectic and chaotic but I love it and I feel like it is what I am supposed to do.”
