The rumors have been swirling around for a while, but leave it to social media to keep everyone informed of the headlines. And leave it to The Voice to show just how much moms rock!
Christina Aguilera let slip out yesterday that new mommy, Gwen Stefani, will be replacing her on the seventh season of the hit show, while she’s out on maternity leave, and Carson Daly confirmed the news on tonights episode of the NBC Show. Aguilera, who will be giving birth to a baby girl later this summer, with fiancé, Matt Rutler, is also mom to son Max, 6, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

And, while we do love Christina and her sincere and insightful advice, we look forward to seeing what Stefani brings to the table. The Voice must be the go-to job for singing mamas. Mommy Christina is one of the original judges, and while she’s been out pursuing other projects, another hot mamacita, Shakira, stepped in to fill her shoes. The Colombian singer had just delivered her baby boy, Milan, less than two months prior to beginning her time on the popular singing competition.
Now, rocker-mom, Stefani is adding her distinctive flair to the Emmy Winning show. She just had her third son a little over a month ago, and she seems the perfect addition to this unique and talented group.

Pharrell Williams will also be joining the team, alongside veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. So, it’s official, and we’re happy!
