Carrie Underwood stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and it was all about the baby talk. Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their first child next year and the country star is said to be elated.
The mom-to-be looked stunning and seemed to settle into her pregnancy role quite nicely. She even told Fallon that she sings to her baby boy, and not only does she sing, she sings quite well for the little tot. “I feel like he hears me singing… because that’s what I do. I do feel like I have to sing all the time. I feel like I have to make it good, because he’s listening. He’s always in there…” the singer laughed.
Fallon asked Underwood how her parents took the news of her pregnancy to which she replied, “I have lots of nieces and nephews so my parents were obviously very happy, but they’ve heard it all before,” the American Idol alum explained. “They have great grandchildren. I’m slow… Mike’s mom shed a few tears… She was that kind of happy.”
The 31-year-old is promoting her album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1, which hit stores yesterday, and she even gave a stellar performance of her Grammy nominated song, Something in the Water.
