Angelina Jolie covers the December issue of Vanity Fair and in her interview with contributing editor Janine di Giovanni the superstar talks about a lot of topics including her new film, Unbroken, the story about an Italian American kid, turned Olympic runner, turned World War II airman, turned hero. She also talked about her upcoming role in By the Sea, in which she stars with and directs her new husband, Brad Pitt, about a married couple going through difficulties.
The subject of the newlyweds highly publicized marriage came up and about the vows she and Pitt exchanged with one another, and the mother of six revealed that the couple’s children wrote them. “They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, ‘Sorry,’ if we do. So they said, ‘Do you?,’ and we said, ‘We do!’ ”
When asked about being married the 39-year-old had this to say: “It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife.”
The magazine will be on newsstands November 11.
