Award-winning actress, and mommy, Amy Adams, generates a lot of attention for her film roles, but before she was a Hollywood success story she was a regular girl, with a few interesting facts under her belt. Check them out below.

- The natural redhead beauty used to work at Hooters. Yes, at just 18, Adams was a Hooters Girl. She admits that she worked there to raise enough money to buy a car, but once she saved up $900 she quit. “I did learn, quickly, that short shorts and beer don’t mix,” she stated in a Vanity Fair interview.
- Adams was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but left the Mormon faith at age 12, after her parents divorced. Alhough she’s no longer affiliated with the church she once said in an interview that it instilled a value system in her that still holds true, which was love and “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
- When Amy was a child her cinematic crush was the one and only, John Travolta, in Grease. We can’t say that we blame her. He was responsible for a lot of little girl’s crushes back in the day.
